Christian Styles, an adult content creator with accounts on JustFor.Fans and OnlyFans, has died at age 29.
His family confirmed his death in an obituary, saying he died on August 20.
Born Zachary Christian Jaghab in Canton, Michigan, in January 1997, Styles was raised in the state and entered the adult entertainment industry in 2021. He built a sizable online following, with more than 1.1 million followers on X at the time of his death.
The obituary remembered Styles as a “cherished son,” “beloved brother,” and “adored uncle.” He is survived by his parents, two siblings, nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. No cause of death was listed.
A funeral service is scheduled for August 25 at an Orthodox Christian church in Livonia, Michigan, followed by a procession to the cemetery for burial.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover Styles’ funeral and burial expenses.
In 2023, Styles and adult film star Chris Damned won the fan-voted GayVN Award for “Favorite All-Male Creator Collab.” Styles received additional nominations the following year.
Fans have since replied to Styles’ past posts with messages of condolence.
“Your smile will be missed. I love you. We all love you,” adult content creator Rafael Alencar wrote on X.
Two men were beaten and subjected to anti-gay slurs in what police believe was a bias-motivated attack in downtown Manhattan last month.
The victims, ages 31 and 37, were walking on Broadway near West 29th Street around 7:30 p.m. on July 31 when two men approached them and made anti-LGBTQ remarks, according to the New York Daily News.
The assailants then repeatedly punched and kicked the victims while shouting homophobic slurs, according to police. The suspects fled south on Broadway.
A transgender couple faces criminal charges after being beaten by a mob over their use of a women's restroom at Cypress Black Bayou Park in Benton, Louisiana.
Aurora Rush and Shae Sanders went to Cypress Black Bayou Park on May 31 for a lakeside cookout. Rush, a trans woman, used the women's restroom and returned to the lake without incident. Later, as the couple headed back to their car, Sanders, who is nonbinary and was assigned female at birth, stopped to use the same restroom, according to journalist S. Baum, reporting for Erin Reed's Erin in the Morning Substack.
As Rush waited outside, she says a man began harassing her. He followed her to her car, threatening to harm her if she entered the women's restroom, calling her slurs, and trying to provoke a fight. After leaving some belongings in the car, Rush returned to a pavilion outside the restroom to wait for Sanders.
Police in Asheville, North Carolina, shot and killed a man who allegedly opened fire on a gay bar from its parking lot after being kicked out of the establishment.
Shakey's -- which markets itself as a "gay dive bar for drag, karaoke, DJs, cheap drinks, patio hangs, dance parties, and late-night pizza" -- said in a statement posted to Instagram that an individual "whose behavior caused concern" was asked to leave the bar during the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 15. He was later seen with a gun in the bar's parking lot.
