The Whitman-Walker Clinic is seeking applicants for its newly announced Community Advisory Group, slated to meet for the first time in March 2010.
''We want this Community Advisory Group to be a tremendous resource to help the Clinic do its work better,'' WWC CEO Don Blanchon stated in a press release issued Dec. 3. ''We look forward to working with the future members of the Group.''
The group is being organized to provide input on: ''current and future health programs and services; cultural competence and training opportunities for employees and volunteers; targeted community relations and outreach efforts; and quality improvement initiatives related to patient satisfaction surveys.''
