Church’s ‘HELL’ sign sprayed with ‘GAY’-positive grafitti [video]

Photo of the glass face of the Havens Corner Church sign. Apparently it was hit with grafitti in response to the conservative religious organization’s earlier anti-gay ”warning,” The much nicer message, “G-A-Y / God Adores You” appears in black and pink spraypaint. (Feminist Avengers)

”We’re trying to give a loving warnings. Admittedly, because of the brevity of the sign, it didn’t come across that loving. You can’t stay in your sin and be a Christian.”

Rev. David Allison of Havens Corners Church in Blacklick, OH, speaking in an interview before the grafitti above appeared. His anti-gay sign: “I KISSED A GIRL AND I LIKED IT THEN I WEN TO HELL,” reportedly was on display for only 24-hours before it was taken down. Apparently, it garnered quite negative reactions all around from religious and gay groups. (WFLX)
