Jonathan Shurberg of Equality Maryland which celebrated a victory at the Court of Appeals regarding a petition that seeks to have voters overturn a new, County Council-approved, transgender right law. Another court had accepted the anti-transgender group’s petition for a November 4 ballot vote even though the number of valid signatures fell below the requirement. The reason for the reversal is not yet known. (Washington Post)
