Filmmaker creating daily reenactments of Prop 8 trial

Los Angeles-based journalist and filmmaker John Ireland, who is creating a dramatic, day-by-day reenactment of the Prop 8 trial that began on Monday, Jan. 11, in San Francisco. The director, who started casting and shooting over the weekend, says the first installment should be posted on YouTube by Tuesday, Jan. 18. He is basing the work on “partial transcripts and first-hand accounts from bloggers” present at the trial. (On Top Magazine)
