Argentinan judge nullifies country’s first gay marriage

”We are married and are confident that the Supreme Court will prove us right.”

Alex Freyre who was married to Jose Maria De Bello in Argentina in December of 2009. A judge had granted them the right to marry in November, but they had difficulty and delays in Buenos Aires, so the couple went to another city, Ushuaia. Unfortunately, another new judge has declared their legal union as “non-existent” because, he says, there is an existing law that bars same-sex marriages. (AFP) (Momento24)
