Bisexual candidate in Philadelphia accused of being “straight” by Democrat incumbent

”My sexuality is not a qualification for office. I bring it up only in the context that it’s important for the LGBT community to have a seat at the legislative table.”

Gregg Kravits, 29, who is challenging the Democratic incumbent for the 182nd state House district, Babette Josephs, 70. She says Kravitz is straight because he has a girlfriend, and he’s trying to appeal to LGBT voters in her district. Josephs also accused Kravitz of never having held a job.
