Gay Florida officer wins right to keep police certification despite porn past

Michael Verdugo, a 36-year-old former police officer for Hollywood, FL, who once participated in a bondage film when he was 22. A 2008 appearance on an HGTV reality show led to exposure of Verdugo’s past and, it is reported, he was eventually fired for not revealing the video on his resume. He is still suing to be reinstated as an officer. (NBC Miami) (Miami Herald)
