Cher discusses transgender son Chaz on Letterman [video]

”I was trying to explain to somebody the other day. You know, I like being a woman. I feel so comfortable in my body. And if I woke up and I was in a man’s body, I would think, ‘Oh, my God I’ve got to get out of here. And that’s the way Chaz felt. It was never comfortable.”

Cher speaking with talk show host David Letterman about her son Chaz Bono (fka Chastity Bono) who is an LGBT activist. The 64-year-old entertainer also complained about a dumb joke Bill Maher made about Chaz changing his gender because of his mother’s appearance. Cher is currently promoting her new film ”Burlesque.”
