GLEE’s bully takes time to talk to gay youth with online video

”Recently I’ve had the opportunity to sit down and talk to a lot of you out there, and it’s been a privilege. It’s been awesome. But I keep hearing the same scary thing over and over again. And it’s that you feel you deserve to be bullied, like there’s nothing you can do to stop it or change it. And that nobody has your back. And I’ll tell you, that’s absolutely the wrong way of thinking. That’s absolutely not true. You do not deserve to be bullied at all.”

Max Adler, an actor on the TV show ”GLEE” talking with gay youth and other teens who have been bullied via the It Gets Beter Project. Adler plays Dave Karofsky a jock who bullies his gay classmate Kurt Hummel. But in last week’s episode, Adler’s character sort of turned the plot line upside down when he kissed Kurt during and argument. (It Gets Better Project via YouTube)
