Hip hop artist Lil B claims death Tweets over ‘I’m Gay’ album title

“And a hundred years later, people gonna thank me because, you know, people gonna be free. And that’s the main thing. Even if it’s one percent of people that listen to this, that listen to me and are going to be free, that’s better than none. That’s better than not speaking up at all, I’ll tell you that. And I spoke up and I did it. And I don’t regret it. And I tell you like this man, if I have any death threats — you know, I have death threats, and I’ve seen…”

You’ve had death threats for this?

“Yeah, no, yeah, definitely. People been hitting me up like, ‘I’m gonna bash your head in,’ ‘you f—-t,’ ‘I’m gonna kill you.’ You know what I mean?”

On Twitter?

“Yeah. People been saying, ‘I’m going to kill you, I’m going to bash your head in, you f—-t. You know we hate f—-ts.’ You know what, I’m a keep going, brother. And I’m a keep pushing for the human rights, and for people to be happy, and the people to speak. And you know what? I’m not gonna stop. And I’m not scared of anybody on Earth. But I’ll tell you, that’s why I did it. And nobody’s going to stop me, my brother.”

Rapper and hip hop artist Lil B speaking with MTV about some of the response he’s been getting after he declared that his next album will be titled, “I’m Gay.” He said last weekend that he loves women, but that words “don’t mean shit,” and in his case, “gay” means “happy.” MTV reports that Lil B says he has “major love” for the gay community and is pushing for “less separation.” (MTV)
