Island House Key West celebrates its 35th anniversary with a throwback to the ’70s contest

IslandHouse_KeyWest.jpgThe Island House Key West, billed as “the longest continuously operated gay guesthouse in the world,” announced its 35th anniversary in business with a throwback to 1976 prices. All 39 rooms will be offered at $13, the price it charged when it opened in 1976, for the night of June 25, 2012. The special offer is available exclusively through a contest on Facebook.  Thirty-nine winners will be chosen randomly among those who “like” Island House at Facebook and post a comment that must include the phrase “35 and fabulous.” The contest runs through September 5, 2011, at midnight.
