Last year saw “Hometown Girl” Mary Chapin Carpenter return to Wolf Trap for the first time in five years, and for the first time since recovering from a “serious medical issue that necessitated significant rest.” This year, she’ll return — with special guest, legendary folk-rocker Loudon Wainwright III (dad to Rufus).
