[Updated Nov. 26] Cyber Monday, the Monday following Thanksgiving and Black Friday, is the biggest online shopping day of the year. So it should be no suprise that hotels are joining in on this e-shopping spree with one-day only online discounts for those who book on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, for stays through the holiday season or into 2012.

Affinia Hotels, with properties in New York City, Chicago and D.C., is offering 10 percent off best available rates for stays through Nov, 28, 2012.  Rates start as low as $109 in Chicago, $119 in D.C. and $161 in New York City.  In addition, guests who book on Cyber Monday will receive a $50 credit to be used at the hotel for in-room goodies like treats from the mini bar and room service. Use promo code CYBER1.
 
Select Kimpton Hotels in D.C., Baltimore and Northern Virginia are offereing free upgrades for the holiday season with an extended Cyber Monday promotion.  Available from Nov. 28 to Nov. 30, guests can book a stay from Dec. 15 through Dec. 30, 2011, using rate code 72SALE to get the free upgrade on rooms at a starting rate of $119.

 
The Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, the historic 85-year-old resort in St. Petersburg, Fl., will offer a discount of up to 25% off the best available rate for those who book online on Cyber Monday using promo code DOD. The offer is valid for stays Nov. 29, 2011 through Jan. 8, 2012. Rates start at $119 per night. 
 
The JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa is offering room rates for $179, plus a $50 resort credit and free room upgrade (subject to availability). The offer is valid for travel Feb. 16, 2012,  through March 31, 2012. Use promo code D50.
 
The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, Orlando’s newest luxury hotel, is having an Extend Your Weekend Sale. For the 24 hours of Cyber Monday, guests who book a Friday and Saturday night stay will receive Sunday night free. Rates start at $209 and the offer is available for travel Nov. 28, 2011 through Jan. 30, 2012, based on availability.  
  
The newly renovated Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba is offering savvy tech travelers a chance to save up to 30% with an extended Cyber Monday sale. Available from Nov. 28 through Dec. 2, travelers can book online reservations for a future visit to the tropical Caribbean resort with rates starting as low as $159 per night for the remainder of 2011 and $289 per night in 2012. Use promo code S2S.
 
San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in Puerto Rico is offering 30% off all reservations booked on Cyber Monday. Rates start from $132 per night for travel through Dec 24, 2011 and from April 10 – Sept. 30, 2012. Use promo code D3Q.
 
The Shore Hotel in Santa Monica, Southern California’s new green and luxurious beachfront hotel, is offering 30% off a partial ocean view room, bookable for only 24 hours on Cyber Monday. Stays are good for Nov. 28, 2011 through Feb. 28, 2012. Call the Shore Hotel at (310) 458-1515 to book this deal.   
 
Marriott’s Florida Resorts are joining together to offer up to 25% savings on Cyber Monday with rates starting from $95 to $186 per night. The savings can be applied on stays from Nov. 29, 2011 through Jan. 8, 2012. Use promotional code DOD.
