From Vietnam to the DMV
Born in Tallahassee, raised in Tampa, Cedric may be a long way from the beach weather he craves. But a stint at Quantico from his active duty days in the Marine Corps was enough to convince the 26-year-old that the mid-Atlantic might suit him — at least for a while. Still in the Reserves, Sgt. Cedric fills his time studying marketing at American University and working in photography. But while the Marines gave Cedric this neck of the woods, it also took him out West. ”I was stationed in San Diego,” he says. As a result, graduation may mark the end of Cedric’s D.C. stay. ”I’ll probably go to the West Coast. Winters here and I don’t really get along.”

A journal and a few books.

There’s no drawer.

On the shelf in a box from Morocco.

Grey’s Anatomy, RuPaul’s Drag Race, America’s Next Top Model, Supernatural.
What was your favorite cartoon when you were a kid?
The Snorks.
What superhero would you be?
Wolverine is my favorite, but I’m not that hairy. Let’s say Blade.
Who’s your greatest influence?
My mom. She taught me that hard work pays off.
What’s your greatest fear?
I’m most afraid of snakes and spiders.

What would you serve?
Baked macaroni and cheese. I’m really good at it. If I’m making it, my friends are coming over.
How would you describe your dream guy?
Neil Patrick Harris! Athletic in some sense, takes care of himself. Educated. Has goals and aspirations.
Define good in bed.
Someone more into passion and intimacy than just getting their rocks off. There’s no need to rush.

Taye Diggs.

Neil Patrick Harris.

Yes. But I guess it goes way back to Hal Spark from Queer as Folk.
Who gets on your nerves?
Negative people. I don’t have time for it. They ruin weekends and beautiful weather.
If your home was burning, what’s the first thing you’d grab while leaving?
My camera. I can take pictures of the house while it burns. Why miss an opportunity?
What’s your biggest turn-on?
Eyes. Lighter than mine. Mine are dark brown.
What’s your biggest turn-off?
Fake tans.
What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet tried?
Skydiving would be cool. Base jumping, maybe.
What’s something you’ve tried that you never want to do again?
Dig a hole. I had a to dig a six-foot-wide, six-foot-deep hole in training. Thank God there was a hurricane and we got evacuated. I only got three feet deep. That sucked.
Boxers, briefs or other?
Trunks. They’re shorter than boxer-briefs.

Gavin DeGraw.
What’s your favorite website?
Hulu. That’s where I watch my Grey’s Anatomy.
What’s the most unusual place you’ve had sex?
A high school classroom.

Unfortunately not.

Pitcher.

Zara U.K. Not Zara U.S.
What’s the most you’ll spend on a haircut?
$30.

The most expensive I have were 110 euros. I almost cried buying those.

Gelato. Vanilla.

Summer. I’m a beach guy.

An eagle. No one can touch ’em. They’re not worried about anything.
What kind of plant would you be?
An orchid. They’re beautiful.

An Audi A6. Definitely in black.

My personality. I can connect with anyone, drop into any situation.
