Tasty Monster’s Personals

The new Tasty Monster Productions presents its inaugural production, Personals — A Love Story for the Rest of Us, a comedic musical romp through the crazy world of Internet dating and personal ads written by the team behind the NBC sitcom Friends (David Crane, Seth Friedman and Marta Kauffman). The show’s hodgepodge of music includes tunes by Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken, William K. Dreskin, Joel Phillip Friedman, Seth Friedman and Michael Skloff. Heather Bagnall Scheeler, Jenny Donovan, Stephen Hoch, Kristen Jepperson, Ken Kemp and Luke Tudball star, guided by musical director Mike Noonan and accompanied by the Unified Jazz Ensemble. Tasty Monster plans to focus on cutting-edge original or re-envisioned stage works. Friday, March 16, and Saturday, March 17, at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Adventure Theater, 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo. Tickets are $15 for children and $21 for adults.
