Monty Python at the Movies
This weekend into next week the American Film Institute’s Silver Theatre screens the legendary British comedy troupe Monty Python‘s popular movies, which took smart absurdity to new heights. Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Monty Python’s Life of Brian and Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life screen along with And Now for Something Completely Different, which features re-staged sketches from the original British TV show and became a midnight-movie sensation.
