Expedia praised for gay-positive video

The International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association is commending Expedia, one of the world’s largest online travel booking companies, for its release of an LGBT-positive video.

Charlie Rounds, chair of the IGLTA Foundation, said in a statement today that the video beautifully expresses the journey that millions of American families have traveled over the last few decades.  Adding, it is because of the courage of companies like Expedia, that every day, more and more LGBT Americans and their families are realizing the true happiness that true equality brings.

The video, titled “Finding Your Understanding: Expedia Finds Yours,” was posted to YouTube on Oct. 2 and has already been viewed more than two million times.
