Addressing those who have criticized Sam for coming out, and those who have questioned whether gay men should be allowed to play in the NFL, Hansen said, “I’m not always comfortable when a man tells me he’s gay. I don’t understand his world. But I do understand that he’s part of mine.”
For the second time this summer, Ariana Grande has rebuked President Donald Trump's administration for using her music in a social media post.
The latest dispute erupted after the Team Trump account added Grande's 2024 hit "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" to a TikTok post that repurposed one of its lyrics.
The post quotes the lyric "Me and my truth we sit in silence..." before adding: "...men can't have babies and should never compete in women's sports."
Two-thirds of straight women, and one-third of straight men, in the United Kingdom say they'd be unwilling to date a bisexual person of the opposite sex, according to a recent YouGov poll.
The poll surveyed 5,983 Britons in late March, including 2,031 straight women and 1,517 straight men. It found that 48% of respondents viewed bisexual people positively, while 8% viewed them negatively. Most of the rest held neither a positive nor a negative view.
The poll also surveyed 824 gay men, 349 lesbian women, 396 bisexual men, and 866 bisexual women, asking whether they would date a bisexual person of a gender they are attracted to.
On his new album Mule, Orville Peck sings that he kissed a Las Vegas Raiders player. The song, "Ring the Bell," features the lyric "I love the Lakers, the Mets and the Longhorns, made out with a guy on the Raiders."
In an interview with Variety, the gay country singer explained why he included the lyric without naming the player.
"I'm going to preface this by saying that I did receive permission to sing that lyric from the subject in question and he was very thrilled," Peck said. "I told him, 'Look, I'm gonna keep it sort of ambiguous and mysterious, but I would like to include this in this song.' He was very, very honored."
