Savion Glover taps his way into The Howard Theatre

savion-glover-652x367-538x301Before he was even a teenager tapper, Savion Glover made his mark starring in Broadway’s The Tap Dance Kid. Just over a decade later he won a Tony for his return to the Great White Way with Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk. More recently he co-choreographed and put the moves to Mumble the penguin in Disney’s film Happy Feet. His next move: A three-night run of performances at Howard Theatre starting tonight. Saturday, Aug. 23, through Monday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m. The Howard Theatre, 620 T St. NW. Tickets are $35 to $55. Call 202-588-5595 or click here.
