Rudy Giuliani: I support marriage equality, so I’ll never get nominated

I believe I can’t get nominated because of my views on gay marriage.”

–Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, speaking on Fox News.

“I’m in favor gay rights, I’m in favor of gay marriage. I see it as an issue of equality,” he continued. “I’m pro-choice. I’m anti-abortion, personally, but I’m pro-choice. And I’m pro-immigrant and I haven’t backed down from that.”

Giuliani initially opposed same-sex marriage, instead supporting domestic partnerships, but — like many other politicians — his views have evolved on the matter.
