America’s Next Top Model may be on its 22nd cycle — no, really — but there’s one excellent reason to tune into Tyra and the gang this season: total hunk Nyle DiMarco.
At 6’2″, with a muscular torso and beautiful blue eyes, it’s easy to see why DiMarco might be stealing headlines — and hearts. But he’s also breaking new ground for the show, competing as ANTM‘s first deaf contestant. When he spoke to Entertainment Tonight, DiMarco pointed out that not being able to hear can sometimes have its advantages:
“Fortunately, I’m deaf, so I don’t have to hear all of their drama,” he said. In a clip from the show, DiMarco uses an app to tell the other contestants: “I just want to say that you all are complaining about hair, hair, hair. Am I complaining about my deafness? No, I am not.”
“My sexiest feature is my body…I work out a lot,” DiMarco acknowledges, but his best feature? “My eyes.” We’re inclined to agree.
ET were kind (read: thirsty) enough to ask DiMarco to sign a few Top Model phrases for them, but we’re pretty sure they could be useful in other situations, too…
Useful for: “Nyle DiMarco is gorgeous from…”
Useful for: “That blue eyes/hairy torso combo is…”
Useful for: “Hey Nyle, do you…”
