Jeffrey Tambor wins Golden Globe for ‘Transparent’

Jeffrey Tambor, in his acceptance speech after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy. Tambor stars in Transparent as Maura Pfefferman, a middle-aged man who comes out to his family as transgender in the Amazon Studios series. A visibly moved Tambor said, “This is much bigger than me. Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press for putting us on the map and making people aware of our story.”

Transparent also won the Golden Globe for Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy.
