Homemade headwear -- from the outrageously elaborate, to the elaborately outrageous -- were all the rage at JR.'s annual bonnet contest.

JR.’s Bar & Grill held its Easter Bonnet Contest, an Easter Sunday tradition for 25 years, on Sunday, April 4, 2010. This year’s winner: Chad Alan, whose “Easter in the Park with George” wowed the crowd. Second place went to a dolled-up Tim Woody, whose basket-borne head was a symphony of pinks and yellows. The popular event was hosted by JR.’s always-colorful, always smiling general manager (and resident paperboy) Dave Perruzza.
