OutWrite 2019: Latinx LGBTQ Poetry by Jose Gutierrez

'El suspiro del angel' and 'Raices de amor'

El suspiro del angel

Tal vez
no me queda
otra cosa que hacer
que encerrarme
en mi cuarto
servirme unos
tragos de licor,
encender tu faro
de recuerdos
navegar hacia
tu puerto,
besar tu fotografia
en la soledad
de mi mar
y fumar, fumar, fumar…

Raices de amor

Mi pasado
no era mas
que cuando
bese tus
labios de
canela salvaje
bajo la luna
coqueta
de marzo
y amanecimos
cantando de amor
junto a los grillos
entre el verde
alucinante de
una manana
Enamorada.
