INSUFFERABLE IS NOT a word to use lightly when describing a movie. But if the butt plug fits….

Following up on his 2006 Another Gay Movie, Todd Stephens writes, directs, produces, and ruins Another Gay Sequel by finding the lowest common denominator in gay humor and digging down another six feet. This time, the four high school friends head to Fort Lauderdale for spring break. Turns out, what happens in Fort Lauderdale should stay in Fort Lauderdale.

Instead of pledging to lose their virginity, they’re trying to bang as many boys as possible. Any charm that the original cast brought to the first film is lost along with them, and it’s no wonder they didn’t return for this stinker of a script. The exception is Jonah Blechman playing Nico, now the story’s central focus. Nico has recovered from the first film’s Richard Hatch/enema mishap and now wants to find love — even if it’s in the arms of a merman he meets in the hotel pool.

The whole gang endures mishaps and sabotage in their quest for booty, including a painfully ridiculous superglue-in-lube scene. Equally painful to that physical stickiness are cameos by RuPaul (looking haggard), The Lady Bunny, Michael Lucas and Perez Hilton. Hilton’s role is surprisingly big — and, not surprisingly, horrible.

Stephens relies on naked men to find his audience: There are, by my count, at least 48 dicks or asses in the 90 minute film — an average of one for every two minutes. Yes, I did the math because math is more fun than the film. While there’s no Belgian Chocolate, there is an equally gross vomit scene (and a bizarre animated crab disco party in pubes sequence). Featuring more product placements than Project Runway, it’s clear where the money came from to finance the project. Call it money wasted. Don’t waste yours.
