Singer Tiffany confirms Jonathan Knight is gay: ‘New Kids’ star responds on Twitter [video]

”I did, yes, Jonathan Knight…. ‘the quiet one, the shy one.’ He became gay later. I didn’t do it. But he’s fabulous…. I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did, but no. Now looking back, when we were dating, we used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to — Hello! Right?”

1980s pop star Tiffany, 39, appearing on Bravo’s ”What Happens Live.” She appeared on the talk show to promote a new SyFy Channel movie, ”Mega Python vs. Gatoroid,” that also features singer Debbie Gibson, 40. Tiffany was asked about dating NKOTB singer, Jonathan Knight. (BravoTV.com)

Public Twitter exchanged between Jonathan Knight (of New Kids On the Block) and Tiffany. (Twitter/JonathanRKnight) (Twitter/TiffanyTunes)

She seems to have confirmed a long-held perception about Knight. He was one-fifth of that late ’80s boy-band sensation, and many observers had guessed that, of all the band’s members, Knight was most likely the one to be gay. He was also the first to leave the band.

A tabloid newspaper article outed him in February of 2009.
