California ballot measure demands “bullet in the head” for gays

“Any person who willingly touches another person of the same gender for purposes of sexual gratification be put to death by bullets to the head or by any other convenient method.”

— An excerpt from the Sodomite Suppression Act, a ballot measure filed February 24 in California by Matt McLaughlin of Huntington Beach, Calif.

McLaughlin believes that “buggery” is an “abominable crime against nature,” and as such, “offenders should die rather than that all of us should be killed by God’s just wrath.” The act itself is ridiculous, but it’s also unconstitutional in a number of ways, so McLaughlin’s hopes of legally slaughtering gay people will fail.
