Anytime the singer-songwriter releases new music, the internet takes notice, and they are never scared of speaking their mind regarding her latest offerings.
As social media becomes more and more pervasive in our everyday lives, major moments in pop culture – such as the release of a highly-anticipated album by one of the biggest stars in the world – means thousands will rush not only to discuss the music, but share jokes and memes about it as well.
With everyone trying to be a part of the discussion – and to rack up likes and retweets and make others laugh – the number of posts on social media platforms like Twitter worth perusing adds up quickly.
In fact, days like this are some of the most fun online, as everyone’s focused on a single topic, and competition for attention drives people to dig deep into their creativity (and their meme folders) to craft that perfect missive.
As you listen to Midnights (probably more than once), take a look at this list of some of the best tweets and memes about the latest from Taylor Swift.

Dolly Parton, the beloved singer-songwriter, actress, and longtime LGBTQ ally, has died at age 80.
Parton's nephew, Brian Seaver, announced her death in a video posted to her Instagram account.
"My name is Brian Seaver, son of Cassie Parton, and I'm representing the Parton and Owens family today announcing the passing of my aunt, Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean, Sister, Sis and Granny to one generation and Gigi to the next," Seaver said in the video.
"This video announcement is something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality. As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven't truly felt it 'til now," Seaver continued.
For the second time this summer, Ariana Grande has rebuked President Donald Trump's administration for using her music in a social media post.
The latest dispute erupted after the Team Trump account added Grande's 2024 hit "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" to a TikTok post that repurposed one of its lyrics.
The post quotes the lyric "Me and my truth we sit in silence..." before adding: "...men can't have babies and should never compete in women's sports."
