Horoscope

February 26-March 4, 2009

Heavenly Round-Up: Like an old-fashioned quilt, this beginning is made of the endings of other things. Shall we mourn the old more than we celebrate the new? Shall we repine for the past rather than look to our uncertain future? Shall we succumb to distress over all that never came to pass instead of planning for what might be? Let’s pull up our socks and be bigger than our disappointments. Let’s collect our wits, employ our compassion and make the most of what is to come.

Aries: Like Hamlet, you have bad dreams. Unlike Hamlet, you’re not the star of a tragedy. Instead, you’re involved in a complicated romantic drama. It’s more likely you’re the lost queen of a tiny island nation whose heroes have searched for you all your life. Dazzle the world.

Taurus: You know what you need, right? If you can tap the vein of community sentiment and commitment all your woes will be reduced, even if they don’t go wholly away. Are you person enough to reach out to those around you who long to offer help?

Gemini: You’re still a contender, but you have a playing field you’ve never seen before and a whole new set of rules to work with. Take your adaptivity to the next level and get the drop on all that is to come: invent your own game. Use the force with a will!

Cancer: Meditate on the big picture. Wrestle with the abstract issues. Ground yourself in the values of the larger community whilst committing to molding the whole into a functional model of the potential. Just because you only imagine it doesn’t make it untrue.

Leo: These are murky times and the issues keep shifting and changing shape as you identify them. Like any good particle physicist, you ought to know that you can know how fast a situation is developing or you can know where it is right now, but you can’t know both.

Virgo: Does the world come down on you like a ton of bricks? Are you not enough of a team player? Could you scream to hear these things said when you’ve never tried for anything but to better the whole? Use a kinder gentler approach to get from here to there.

Libra: You want to look and feel your best. You want to make a good impression. You want to do more with what you already have, though you’re not sure you have the time or the resources. Is it worth worrying yourself into a minor tizzy? Let go and find the window.

Scorpio: It’s exciting to be so much adrift in the sea of possibilities. You’re titillated by not knowing what comes next or where it will go if you take hold. You’re entranced by the uncertainties all around you. Reinvent yourself to your heart’s delight. Now is the time!

Sagittarius: It’s the same old story, yes. But you’ve re-crafted the focus and the trajectory and now it has the potential to be a teaching tool as well as entertainment as well as a record of all you’ve become based on what you’ve been through. Take pride.

Capricorn: It’s time to get back to basics and buckle down to learn what you need to know to take the next step. Is it frustrating for you to discover that you’re the teacher, the student and the text? There are no set hours, nor objectives you don’t create for yourself.

Aquarius: When will you give up and let the current take its own path? If you choose never–and that’s a real choice, though not the only one–you’re committing to a feat of engineering and will and a domination of consciousness over nature. Not bad, but not easy.

Pisces: Look, touch, smell and listen. There’s a lot changing and little you can recognize from moment to moment. Embedded in the confusion is a pearl of great price–worth the struggle and the rigidity which has pinned you to your life like a collected butterfly.
