Ann Hampton Callaway’s Valentine to the Kennedy Center

The Kennedy Center's main Valentine's Day treat is a romp through love songs from the Great American Songbook and other clever, contemporary originals by lesbian jazz singer-songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway. Callaway has written songs for her mentor, Barbra Streisand, and will perform a medley of "People/Being Alive" from the recent cabaret show The Streisand Songbook, as well as another song Streisand sang at her own wedding written by Callaway, "I've Dreamed of You." Friday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Kennedy Center Terrace Theater.
