CNN’s Roland Martin wants to smack any “dude … hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad”

Tonight’s Madonna half-time show at the Superbowl got a significant amount of attention from her dedicated gay fans, but it was CNN commentator Roland Martin‘s tweets about H&M’s new David Beckham underwear that started a secondary firestorm on Twitter. He tweeted:

He then followed up, tweeting:

He later attempted to explain his tweets, writing:

UPDATE @ 10:45P: GLAAD is calling on CNN to fire Martin, about whom they state: “Martin’s tweets today advocating violence against gay people weren’t an accident. They are a part of a larger pattern for Martin.”
