Tracy Morgan at The Howard Theatre

Tracy Morgan 1

The former Saturday Night Live comedian and now star of 30 Rock, Tracy Morgan sometimes flies off the cuff in his standup and lands right into controversy. You know, like last year, when at a Nashville joint he suggested that he’d stab his son if he were gay and effeminate. His cast-mates rebuked him, and he conceded he had “gone too far.” How far will he go when he performs for the first time at D.C.’s revived Howard Theatre? Thursday, Aug. 2, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The Howard Theatre, 620 T St. NW. Tickets are $55 in advance or $60 day-of. Call 202-588-5595 or visit thehowardtheatre.com for more details.
